Project Description

This existing employee servery was in need of a upgrade. Acting as the primary hot food destination on campus, the space struggled with long lines, was lacking clear signage and wayfinding, and had limited made-to-order options. In such a competitive market, high-experience, high-quality food and beverage amenities can bring the edge in recruitment and retention.

Design Intent

The new dining experience was designed to break bottlenecks, increase variety, and serve as an all day destination for employees.

  • Order-ahead and self-checkout models reduce congestion and waiting

  • Express and made-to-order programs increase choice and efficiency

  • A full service dual-bar anchors daily use and after-hours events

  • Elevated finishes, lighting, and millwork reinforce a premium, hospitality-driven atmosphere

  • Flexible seating zones support social connection, focus, and restoration throughout the day
